    1-800LoanMart Recaps the Last Half of the Clippers Road Trip

    The Los Angeles Clippers wrapped up the second half of their road trip last night, and all of us at 1-800LoanMart are all very proud at how the long trip turned out. The Clippers showed great team work when they played the 76ers in Philadelphia Friday. The game was a tough battle as both teams played outstanding defense. The Clippers played in front of a sold out arena at the Wells Fargo Center with 20,539 people in attendance, but they weren’t fazed by the crowd in the least bit. The Clippers only had 7 turnovers which proved to be very important. The game went down to the wire and Chris Paul nailed a jump shot with 3.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give the Clippers a one point lead. This was the game winning shot and gave the Clippers a 78 – 77 victory.

    After the game in Philadelphia the Clippers played the very next day in Charlotte against the Bobcats. Throughout the game the Clippers showed just how well they are able to play as a team by controlling the tempo of the game. With great performances by all of the starters the Clippers got off to an early lead and were able to keep it the entire game. The game finished with the score of 111 – 86 as the Clippers came off with the win and continued their road trip into Dallas.

    The Los Angeles Clippers wrapped up their six games and ten day road trip last night in Dallas. The reigning NBA champions proved to be a tough opponent on their home court. This was the last game for the Clippers marking the end of a long road trip. The Los Angeles Clippers did not play their brand of basketball against the Mavericks. They suffered 19 turnovers in the game and were not able to get into a rhythm. Even though the Clippers struggled with some of the basic fundamentals of the game, they were still able to play tough against the defending champs. The game ended with a final score of 92 – 96 and marked the end of the long road trip for the Clippers.
